With each NBA season that passes, Kobe Bryant seems to add something new to his repertoire. This year he has added a low post game, but what sticks out to me more is his improved ability to knock down game-winning shots. Ploughing his way through double-teams, and making some of the leagues best one-on-one defenders look like cardboard cutouts, Kobe has given his Lakers a few W’s with a single shot ripping through nylon as the game clock expires.
I have long ago concluded that Kobe is the best player in his generation. His awards and set records alone can prove that, but what sets him apart from others is his work ethic to ever-improve. Hitting game-winning shots consistently is something that few can do, including the overhyped (in my opinion) LeBron James:
